https://youtu.be/CSiHjnj7cQM

I was honoured to sit with two very different activist during the Conference for Climate Change and Consciousness at the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland.

My early morning workshops, presented as a self soothing practice to better cope with change of all sorts were well received.

  1. I feel such gratitude to have met you and your generous teaching of Qi gong each morning at 7:00am. Your calm and soulful class was both deeply grounding and uplifting, an inspiring introduction to the practice

Qigong and Alpha Waves - Us and the Earth

There is a fair amount of research, some by the Institute of Aviation, about the brain waves of regular Qigong Practitioners. Most fascinating to me is that the more proficient a practitioner is, the nearer to 8Hz frequency are the alpha waves. There is a so-called Humannwave at the frequency of 7.83 amongst the Earth's magnetic field. Qigong becomes a practice which illustrates Chinese Medical Theory  "Heaven and Man are united in Oneness''. Xie, Huan Zhang The scientific Basis for Qigong, 1989

Resilience

Everyday for the past 30 days I have practiced a daily list making activity. One list is of things to be grateful for, the other of what went well today. I am not the first to do this simple practice nor the first to notice the remarkable resilience this affords me in times of trouble. www.qigongcoach.net
